I was a little nervous that they could deliver what they promised, but I didn’t want the expense associated with replacing all this carpet. They definitely delivered exactly what they promised! I was amazed at how well my carpets came clean and the pet odor is totally gone! Thanks to Ecosteam, they brought life back into the carpets of our home. Ecosteam has saved us a lot of money and given us a sense of security that our floors are truly clean and safe for our children. Many, many thanks." Jean Marie Peek

Pet Odor and Stain TreatmentsSure they're cute . . . But the little presents they leave behind aren't. Unfortunately, we all understand what we're talking about here. Anyone who has ever had a new puppy or kitten knows the patience that goes into housebreaking our furry little friends, and sometimes we don't catch every little accident that happens.
Pet stains and odors are no laughing matter. One common horror story we hear nearly everyday comes from customers who have used "amateurs"carpet and upholstery cleaning people lacking the proper tools and trainingwho end up making the problem much worse than it was to start with. Here’s why . . . Like an iceberg, you only see the top 10% of any urine deposit. And much like an iceberg, the largest part of the problem lies below the surface. As pet urine leaves the body, it’s technically sterile; however, during the stages of decomposition, it converts from an acid to an alkaline, eventually drying into what's called "alkaline urine salts." These salts are highly malodorous and remain deep in your carpet fibers and furniture cushions indefinitely, causing that fowl urine odor smell, especially on those hot, humid summer days. The next problem occurs when the untrained “amateur” comes along and introduces more water and alkaline-based detergents into the surface of the carpet or upholstery fibers. These detergents dissolve the urine salts, force the decomposition process to start all over again, and cause you to relive the nightmare-of-an-odor problem. Let’s face it; this can be a huge, smelly, and uncomfortable situation. But not for the IICRC trained technicians at We are certified and trained to introduce highly active and oxygenated products that will attack the odor and stain at its source. These safe organic enzymes encapsulate the problem urine salts so that they can be removed successfully from deep inside your carpet padding or upholstery. We then flush the fibers with purified water and extract all the contaminates. This procedure penetrates beneath the padding all the way down to the sub-flooring or deep into your upholstery cushions to the location of the contamination. We at
Occasionally we find a problem that is so severe we recommend removing the carpet and padding completely and sealing the sub flooring. At If you have a pet odor problem caused by a puppy, a kitten, or even an older family pet, just give
